For those living close to a Scholastic Publishing warehouse, you ought to know about their book sales. They happen about four times a year and are open to anyone, though teacher types get the notices. Sometimes they offer 50% off and other times I've seen them offer 75% off. There's always a bargain aisle and many books are marked with discount stickers that can be as much as 90% off! Here's the link to the
